Comprehensive Audit

Blower Door Test, Infrared Imaging, assessment of your insulation, windows, doors and mechanical equipment, efficiency test of your refrigerator. Draft Test to insure proper venting of your combustion appliences as well as ambient CO levels. Identify moisture and potential mold issues. Once the test is complete, we do a walk thru to show you the weak areas of your home. The data from the tests and field measurements are then used to create a simulation model in Rem/Design software. An analysis of the home's energy performance is done. It calculates the impact of various improvements and provides an approximate savings due to lowered energy demand. The report you will receive will be approximately 20 pages long with a detailed plan of action to lower your utility cost and make your home more comfortable. These suggested measures will have the approximate cost to you as well as payback time.
