Modern building science teaches that we diagnose your home as a system. We measure and examine the shell of the home including an evaluation of windows, doors, insulation and the air infiltration level. We then evaluate your furnace, air conditioner mechanical ventilation, water heating, kitchen appliances and indoor lighting.

Applied Ecologic utilizes the latest in technology for your comprehensive audit. Hidden voids in insulation are uncovered and air leaks identified through the use of an infrared camera. Refrigerator efficiency is calculated through metering and indoor air quality is monitored for ambient carbon monoxide levels and proper appliance drafting.
In your emailed or printed audit, the measures outlined to enhance your energy efficiency will be prioritized with the approximate cost listed so you will know whether the bids you receive are high or low.
Although lifestyles can have a great influence on how much energy you will save after the measures are completed, you deserve a realistic idea of the return you will get for your investment.

Our innovative General Manager, Jim Korsedal, will leverage his experience to help you make the right decisions concerning your home improvements. As a licensed builder (#2101093546) for twenty years he has rehabbed a number of homes over the years. He is also a former Design Engineer in the Automotive and Aerospace industries and an inventor and patent holder.
